This 8.5x11" art print is a lovingly-crafted design representing the first collaboration between Indigenous Box and Jonathon JCAT Cardinal and his brand Art Inspired.

On the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, September 30th, we wear our orange shirts to stand in remembrance, and ask Canadians to honour the truth.

The orange shirt has grown to represent both the acknowledgement of the past and the hope for the future. It gives us a day to reflect and remember the many children and young people who died in Canadian residential schools and those that survived who have had to carry the weight of trauma and abuse.

On this day we acknowledge this untaught Canadian history in the spirit of healing as we work towards reconciliation. It is the start of a conversation about forced assimilation and the attempts at cultural genocide on Indigenous peoples of this land

It was my first box and I expected more.I was not impressed that this piece of art which I initially liked, had indigenous box written on it.

This poignant piece of art is gorgeous. It was nice to receive this in my latest Indigenous Box. I will be getting it framed and displaying it in my home.

Thank you for reaching out for feedback. I have been a subscriber since last year. The contents of the Indigenous Box have become fewer. The recent Fall box contained 5 items. The print card of Every Child Matters was the best item in the box. I still enjoy receiving the stickers as they have become my favourite item in every box I have received. Thank you.
